Team Leader Boubaker Karray
The Institut de lOlivier (I.O.) is a public administrative
body. It comes under the authority of the Ministry
of Agriculture and is attached to the Agricultural
Research & Higher Education Agency (known by
its French acronym I.R.E.S.A). This Institut is
responsible for undertaking research, studies, experiments,
information-oriented activities and action to develop
both the olive sector and the one of the fruit arboriculture
in the semi-arid zone in the agronomic, processing
and economic fields.
Dr Boubaker Karray, is the coordinator
of the I.O. research activity "Improvement
of the productivity and competitivity in the olive
oil sector".
